Tired of applying for jobs we're not qualified for, and sick of sending out contact emails ("would you like to go to coffee sometime and discuss career opportunities"), AttorneyClientPrivilege ("ACP") and I decided to take life by the horns. And what better way to do this than by setting up a blog?
Like any post-law school, self-entitled, over-confident young lawyers, we believe we deserve to be employed. But, if we can't be employed, we will be heard... within the confines of anonymous blogs (because we do want a real job someday).
This blog is designed to be a space where we can discuss and amuse others with our daily barrage of challenges (you know, bothering Comcast until we receive the perfect cable subscription, navigating the waters of singledom, applying for food stamps, attempting to lose that post-bar weight, and convincing our parents we need more money).
Today, dear reader, we won't use too many legally-blond puns, but as we did spend the last three years in law school, legal quips and comments will occasionally appear in our postings.
However, we are more than one dimensional and our postings won't always be nods to our fellow out-of-work JD brethren. Postings will include a variety of riveting topics such a book club, gym work-outs, bar hopping, analyzing the latest pop culture, and our adventures in grilling.
We hope you enjoy FUNemployment.... because we know we do!
